Polyaluminum chloride (PAC) performance characteristics:
1. Large molecular structure, strong adsorption capacity, low dosage, and low treatment cost.
2. Good solubility and high activity; it forms large flocs in water, settles quickly, and has a purification capacity 2-3 times greater than other inorganic flocculants.
3. Strong adaptability; less affected by water pH and temperature; raw water purification meets national drinking water standards; low cation and anion content in treated water, which is beneficial for ion exchange treatment and high-purity water preparation.
4. Low corrosiveness, simple operation, and improved labor intensity and working conditions in the dosing process.
Product Details
Polyaluminum chloride (PAC) exists in both liquid and solid forms. Due to variations in the raw materials, its appearance and application effects differ.
It is a resinous solid, typically yellow or light yellow, dark brown, or dark gray in color. This product exhibits strong adsorption properties, undergoing coagulation, adsorption, and precipitation during hydrolysis. The fundamental difference between PAC and traditional inorganic coagulants lies in their structure. Traditional inorganic coagulants are low-molecular-weight crystalline salts, while PAC is composed of diverse multi-carboxyl complexes. It exhibits rapid flocculation and sedimentation, a wide applicable pH range, no corrosiveness to pipes and equipment, and significant water purification effects. It effectively removes color, suspended solids (SS), COD, BOD, and heavy metal ions such as arsenic and mercury from water. This product is widely used in drinking water, industrial water, and wastewater treatment.
