Performance Characteristics
Acid-resistant, alkali-resistant, hard water-resistant, highly water-soluble, emulsion-stable, does not separate, break emulsion, or clump when diluted with water in any proportion, long shelf life, high solids content, and good dispersibility.
Main Purpose
1. In the paper industry: Internal sizing, good compatibility with other raw materials, giving paper ideal water resistance and significantly improving other technical indicators. Using wax emulsions can replace 20%–40% of traditional resin usage.
2. In engineered wood products: Added with adhesives to give wood boards water resistance and improve surface smoothness.
3. For wood waterproofing: Apply evenly to the wood surface using soaking or spraying methods, and dry to achieve a waterproof effect.
4. In the light industry and rubber industry: Can be used as a varnish, coating, and additive.
5. In the ceramics industry: For kaolin with poor texture, emulsified wax needs to be added to compensate for its poor plasticity or improve the strength of the initial product. Paraffin wax emulsions can replace expensive vinyl acetate.
6. Uses in the petroleum industry:
(1) Cleaning the bottom of the well and removing cuttings;
(2) Cooling and lubricating the drill bit and drill string;
(3) Forming mud cake to protect the wellbore;
(4) Adding high-quality paraffin emulsion to drilling fluid can significantly improve its inhibitory and lubricating properties, preventing well collapse and increasing drilling speed.
7. Uses in the textile industry: Primarily used for yarn finishing and textile finishing agents.
8. Uses as a mold release agent: Used for demolding rubber or plastic products, PU, and metal products.
9. Uses in water-based coatings and water-based inks: Improves the scratch resistance, hydrophobicity, and anti-sticking and anti-fouling properties of the coating film, making the coating smoother.
